hates the internet

Coming up on a year ago, I migrated Hates The Internet from Wordpress to Drupal and, to be honest, kind of forgot about it for a while. I always meant to pop in and do a little rearranging, but could never seem to find the time.

... then the Jaypo must go to the Eclair. Just this once I'm not talking about the succulent treat that pleases sweet toothes and widens waistlines, but version 2.1 of Google's Android.

That's right, folks, you heard me: As awesome as it is to be able cram two racks of servers into a few U, sometimes virtual environments just don't cut the mustard. And sometimes, they're just not that cool.

Computers are what I do.  I spend quite a lot of my time dicking around with various things and, as I'm sure is true of almost everyone who happens across my little corner of the internet, over the years I've amassed quite a collection of code.

Despite my best efforts, I constantly find myself with a few extra CPU cycles in my brain to rub together, and more often than not what falls out is some ridiculous attempt to bring severely obsolete technology into the modern world.

Well folks, it's been a crappy night and various pieces of crappy technology have driven me quite literally to drink, but on a whole the new Mischa's up and running and that means www.hatestheinternet.com is going to load quicker for the four of you that visit my site regularly ;) For those who want to know what us cool kids run, read on...
